Interesting Facts The Media Doesn't Report

You won't see this anywhere in the MSM. Guess what?? The Kuwaiti News Acency (KUNA) is reporting that "insurgent attacks in Baghdad have dramatically decreased since launching Operation Al-Barq".
Why is it that news organizations in the Middle East are more willing to publish a pro-US position than our own media here at home? This makes NO sense to me at all.
Of course, the Kuwaitis are forever grateful to the US for chasing Saddam Hussein out of their country in 1991, but that's beside the point. Or is it? Isn't that exactly what we have done in Iraq? If the Kuwaitis are pro-US, why can we not assume that the Iraqis are, too? From what I have been reading on my favorite Iraqi blog, there seems to be PLENTY of pro-US sentiment there. Fourteen years from now, do you think that MAYBE the Iraqis will still be grateful for what we did, even if it doesn't go as planned?
Even if the Iraq situation fails, which is looking more and more unlikely every day, I'd say it's a pretty good bet that the Iraqis will still be grateful that we did what we could to help them. Don't agree? I'll tell you what. You try living in a country where the leader can rape your wife and your daughters in front of you, and then stick an electrically-charged poker up your ass and turn up the voltage slowly until you die, and all with impunity. Wouldn't you be grateful to someone, ANYONE, who made an effort to put a stop to that? This is exactly the type of person the US media seems to wish were still in power in Iraq. Add to that his propensity for building weapons of mass destruction, then hiding them outside the country when it came time to pay the piper.
What?? There never were any weapons of mass destruction? Even some in the mainstream media disagree. Yet even though one of our own American reporters is telling the story, it's suppressed in the MSM. All we hear is "Bush lied" over and over again, ad nauseum. We hear it so much that it's becoming apparent that the Left is using its "repeat the lie until everyone believes it" technique.
I'm not saying the Right is perfect, but I'm pretty convinced the Left, as well as its "willing accomplices in the media" (a little Rush Limbaugh lingo, there), is WAAAYY out there.
