Even the Sunnis are calling for Jill Carroll's release.

They're also calling for the US to stop arresting Iraqi women.

I'm not sure exactly which women are being arrested, but i guarantee they're being treated a whole lot better than Miss Carroll. There hasn't been a single documented case of even one Iraqi captive having his/her head sawed off, or even the threat thereof. Or at least not that I know of.

If Americans are arresting Iraqi women, it's because they are involved in terrorist activity. If they are involved in terrorist activity, I'm not interested in seeing them released any day soon. People involved in terrorist activity, male or female, are the enemy, and must be treated as such. Jill Carroll is a reporter for Christian Science Monitor, on whose website I wasn't able to find much in the way of bias, if anything. The closest thing to any bias was a set of quotes from a group of human rights organizations:

"The American freelance journalist is known for her extreme sympathy towards the Iraqi people and opposition to their suffering since the outbreak of the war and the invasion of Iraq,'' they wrote. The groups "plead for her release as a sign of [her captors'] good intentions and in respect to a journalist highly respected by all.... The Christian Science Monitor has been known for its objectivity ... in covering Iraq," the human rights groups wrote.

Extreme sympathy and opposition to suffering could be taken either way, but could be a sign of Jill being biased towards the terrorists. If she's biased towards the terrorists, why have they taken her captive and threatened to kill her? I think we all know why. It's that picture of that darned Eagle on her passport. I doubt there's much in the way of "good intentions" coming from Jill's captors, especially given her possible sympathy for their side. Even the Sunnis are calling for her release. Of course, the terrorists treating one of their own sympathizers (if, in fact, she is one) makes the point I've been making all along.

These people don't give a rat's ass what your political persuasion is. They hate ALL Americans, liberal and conservative alike. These turdlickers would saw Weird Howard's head off in a second, and the Sheehag immediately after that. Jack Murtha? They'd use his as a bowling ball after the deed was done. These people are not human - they're animals. Yet their inhuman asses are treated with dignity and respect in captivity, while they kidnap and brutalize innocent people when allowed to do so.

If this evil deed is done, I hope it's videotaped and shown on TV for the world to see. There can never be enough anger for those who commit these heinouos acts.
