Hitlery Opens Mouth, Inserts Foot

Tuesday, January 17, 2006

I guess no one should be surprised Hitlery showed up at a racist love-in on Martin Luther King Day. No one should be surprised that she was given a chance to speak at an event that called for the review of cases involving memebers of known hate groups.

I'm not even sure anyone should be surprised that she had a few racist words of her own to deliver, but with the press and cameras there, I do think even her asshole husband would have been more tactful.

We have a culture of corruption, we have cronyism, we have incompetence. I predict to you that this administration will go down on history as one of the worst that has ever governed out country.
This from one of the most corrupt and incompetent people ever to hold office. This from someone who couldn't find a set of billing records that somehow magically showed up in an obvious place. Yeah, ok, Hitlery, like you're one to talk.

But that's not even the worst of it. Here's a simple question she got:
I need you to tell us what distinguishes Democrats from Republicans right now.
This is a question I have answered here in plain English with complete clarity and truth. She saw it fit not only to avoid answering the question, but to make unsubstantiated accusations of racism:
When you look at the way the House of Representatives has been run, it has been run like a plantation and you know what I'm talking about...
I can't wait to see some wacko Donks try and tell us that there was something else involved in that "plantation" remark. I can't wait to see how they justify this.

Hitlery will likely come up with some bullshit about how she knows how plantations were run, and that this really had nothing to do with race, but with something that was wrong with the inner workings of a Southern plantation. We all know what she was saying and what she was trying to do.

When the "Reverend" Al Sharpton hosts an event, it's seldom anything other than a gathering of racists trying to make themselves out to be victims, when it's their own ignorance that's at fault. Me personally? I'd have treated this event the same way President Bush treated Yasser Arafat. I wouldn't get involved with prominent racists, just like Mr. Bush wouldn't get involved with prominent terrorists. If Hitlery doesn't want to be labelled a racist, she should have had her own event with non-racist people as speakers, or at least have stood up for the true vision of Dr. King by denouncing the racism that was being spewed. She did neither.

The Republicans would be wise to save the video from this event. It could be very helpful in the future.
