The Iraqis got him. Ya know for a war that we're losing, we're getting a lot of the top guys (Saddam, Zarqawi, al-Saeedi).

I don't take the position that the War on Terror will be easy. I never have. I'm one of those people who think we'd do better by being more aggressive and worrying less about collateral damage and civilian casualties. Still, Osama's on the run, Zarqawi's dead, Saddam is on trial, and this thug is locked up. Maybe not the quickest way to win a war, but if the slow road and the high road are getting us somewhere, then maybe we should be looking at the brighter side.

On the other hand, there's still a lot to be done. Iran, Syria, and North Korea must be dealt with. Who knows who else will join the fight and on which side? No war is all rosy and sweet. Ask any soldier. That doesn't mean that war should be avoided at all costs. Tyring to avoid war in the 1930s only made our enemy stronger. America must continue to do the right thing and fight this war with everything she's got. At some point, she must face the truth and worry less about the lives of the innocent and more about the deaths of the guilty.

It is then that this war will be won.

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this thug to justice. I only wish someone had just shot his sorry ass and been done with it.
