Possible Changes Coming On ...

I've had very few problems with Blogger (my blog host) over the 21 months I've been at this, but I've long known that most bloggers outgrow their service at some point. The recent run of long outages has me considering other options. I've put feelers out with a number of free blogging services (I just can't afford to pay for it), and there may be some changes in the near future.
I would like some advice from others out there, if you wouldn't mind. I've checked out the following: Blog-city.com, Blogsome.com, and WordPress.com. Any comments regarding the pros/cons of each and/or another option (must be free) would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Update 11/1: Looking into some really good options, but there's going to be a lot of stuff to tweak. One thing I'm trying to preserve is the basic look and feel of this template, which I really like. I also want to hopefuly continue using Haloscan comments as well. I'm even looking into the idea of having "mirror" sites, which would enable me to keep this blog and simultaneously post on others so that readers could get around a Blogger outage. - RWR
Update 11/1(#2): I've got a mirror site of sorts up at Wordpress.com. Hopefully I can get the look and feel up to a reasonable standard. It might not even be that hard to maintain both it and this blog, especially if the comments could be worked out to reflect both blogs. Who knows. WordPress has a lot of beeps and whistles that I'm going to have to play with. - RWR
Update 11/2: I've listed mirror sites at WordPress and Blogsome in the left sidebar. Please bookmark these in case of Blogger outage. I will only be accepting comments here, though, to avoid having to manage multiple strings. Hopefully this will make life a little easier. - RWR
