Michelle Malkin is polling her readers about whether they are now on board with McCain/Palin. With over 11,000 votes, it's abundantly clear that the selection of Sarah Palin has had the effect of bringing conservative Republicans into the fold - to the tune of 90%.

Oblahma's chances of beating McCain were slim to none before the announcement, but with Sarah Palin on board, slim just left town. There are libs out there who are so upset about the decision (more likely upset about what it does to their candidate's chances) that they are calling the decision an act of treason. Chalk that one up to fucking hilarious. Of all the treasonous acts committed buy John McCain in his political career, choosing as a running mate someone better qualified for the job than their own choices is an act of treason so great they are willing to call him on it. McCain-Kennedy? No problem. McCain-Lieberman? No problem. McCain-Feingold? Some of the best legislation passed in ages. Sarah Palin for vice president? Treason. Irresponsible. Reckless. Contemptible. Yeah, ok.

FYI, I did respond in this poll, and was not one of the respondents counted in the aforementioned 90% (for obvious reasons). Sarah Palin is not the nominee, and she will not be the one carrying out the duties of President of the United States. That will be traitor McCain, who has put the final nail into the coffin of the Obama campaign by choosing an excellent candidate as his vice presidential running mate, even though he didn't have to. Oblahma has been toast for quite some time.

One thing the Palin choice does do, however, is restore hope that maybe, just maybe, the party can be moved enough to the right to get it to listen to people concerned about the crimes the government has been committing over the last hundred or so years. She may just be conservative enough to bring that. It is up to us to make sure nobody holds his breath.
