I will note that I have a personal connection to one of those shown, though through a very liberal friend who was involved. Also, there is one instance of "not really". Guitarist Jeff Cook is part of the band Alabama, so they should not be listed separately.

A few interesting surprises: Britney Spears, 50 Cent, Meat Loaf, Prince, Styx, Mariah Carey, Eazy-E, Gene Simmons (of KISS fame), and the amazing Gloria Estefan.
